voice of villages

VOICE OF VILLAGES
India is known as the land of villages. Gandhi once said, “The future of India lies in its villages.” But it is a pity to see that the present scenario is way different.

In Andhra Pradesh presently there are approximately 28 thousand villages. Of these, more than 70% are backward areas
India has always boasted of the technological development it has achieved in the span of 65 years. But it is sad that this “development” has not reached its villages. In India more than 75% ofrty line.
These villages don’t even have the basic necessities like food, water, and electricity. It is shocking to see these people still doing their mundane jobs under lanterns. Imagine their lives without basic requirements!

These villages are not connected to the rest of India by the road or by the railway network. They are not aware of many new things and are still left in the dark world of superstitions.  Even though schools are there, they are either not in proper condition or too far away for the children to reach them everyday!

One of the means to improve their lives is to help them get to all their basic amenities and educate them by setting up schools.

Although in some villages there is electricity, the government is imposing 10-12 hours of power cut everyday.

All these things have become the impetus in forming the “VOICE OF VILLAGES”. A department of ngo.

  VOICE OF VILLAGES will
Visit one village once in a month and will know all their problems that they are facing and try to resolve them.

We the VOICE OF VILLAGES seek your help in improving the state of the villages here. We, being responsible and educated citizens of our country should help our villages to develop.

LET’S JOIN OUR HANDS TO CHANGE THE LIVES OF VILLAGERS AND TO CHANGE VILLAGE. Ultimately our goal should be INDIA LIES IN ITS VILLAGES
